NEWS - EPISODE THREE NOW AVAILABLE!

<02 DEC 2011>

Version 1.31 is now available, with a few very minor changes. Download it using the download link on the left side of the screen. Full list of changes:

-Emitter chambers should now show up more often as random loot.
-The added effect merchant in the Hole & Corner Market should no longer occasionally refuse to talk to you.
-Fixed a repeated Typelog fragment in "Splices 6/7." It should now be archived correctly.
-The "Splices 8/9" fragment archive is no longer accessible. It will properly return in Episode 4.
-Some crafted weapons' generated names have been tweaked to lower the chance of being truncated. (Not retroactive, obviously.
-Weapons with Pulse/Hull traits (such as Neff's primary weapon) should no longer randomly be resisted by "Neutral" targets.
-Slightly boosted the added effects granted to enemy weapons in Episode 3.

<07 MAY 2011>

A few more fixes in Episode One. This fixes a freeze when talking to Rami between missions and a bug with generating random maps.

 

<10 APRIL 2011>

Small update made to Episode One. There was a bug that would trigger after the main story was finished and the ending scene was viewed that would lock out content and cause general weirdness. Get the newest version to remedy this (it will also fix affected save files).

<24 DECEMBER 2010>

The game has been updated to version 1.01 with a minor change. Now, the rearmost rows in battle grant triple restoration to units present within them during a Phase change.

Tentative release date for Episode Zero is December 20th, 2010.

 

<05 NOVEMBER 2010>

The release of Episode Zero, which may or may not be a glorified tech demo, is fast approaching! Well, okay, not fast fast, but definitely in the next couple months. Probably. Features to expect:

  • About an hour of actual story content
  • Full character creation implemented
  • Full weapon crafting implemented
  • Low-level random maps to play with after the main content is finished
  • A full range of combat difficulty settings, from inert to insidious
  • Five playable characters in all
